(ERC) Development of a Blockchain-based System for Carbon-Neutral Data Sharing and Incentives

This research project aims to achieve Life-Cycle Carbon Neutrality in the building and construction sector through a comprehensive strategy focused on three major themes:
Carbon Neutral Planning and Environmental Technology: Developing a life-cycle carbon-neutral planning and assessment model that integrates urban/building energy and microclimate analysis. This includes creating control algorithms to optimize energy prosumer networks, enhance indoor environmental quality, and reduce operating costs, along with decision-support tools for green remodeling.
Circular Economy-Based Construction Technology and Modular Systems: Developing low-carbon materials (such as cement-free binders) and circular modular structural systems using recycled construction waste. A core component is the establishment of a real-time carbon-emission monitoring, prediction, and management platform for the construction phase.
Carbon Neutral Operation, Assessment, and Integrated Platform: Establishing building carbon-neutral assessment frameworks, indicators, and certification schemes, alongside building stock and construction waste management systems. The project culminates in the development of a blockchain-based carbon-asset recording and trading system and an integrated circular economy information and commercialization platform.

Development of a construction-phase carbon-emission monitoring, prediction, and management platform utilizing real-time data on equipment, material, and electricity usage
Development of carbon-neutral operation and assessment technologies, and an integrated circular-economy platform and commercialization framework
Development of building carbon-neutral assessment frameworks, indicators, and certification schemes, along with building-stock and construction-waste management and evaluation systems
Development of a blockchain-based carbon-asset recording and trading system and an integrated circular-economy information and decision-support platform, including related policies, institutional frameworks, and business models
